The residents of this city are classified into two categories: "Explorers" who explore dungeons and "Supporters" who assist explorers in the management of the city.

If you don't get a civilian job for a certain period of time, you will lose your position as a "Supporter".
And in this city, the only people who exist other than "Supporters" are "Explorers".
So, if you don't get a regular job, you automatically become an "Explorer".
I'm a bit annoyed that "Explorer" seems to be treated as a penalty, though......
On the other hand, the duty of an "Explorer" is, needless to say, to explore the dungeon.
And the only penalty for abandoning that duty is a demotion.
In other words, once you drop to the 10th Rank, there is virtually no penalty.
