Otherworldy Warrior Preface, Prologue

Preface: Because I am still a Heroes

Prologue

"I wonder if there's anything interesting..."

I scoured the Internet at random, but I've read all the manga that looked interesting and watched almost all the anime.

I don't even know how many games I've played, but I don't find the latest ones interesting.

I'm also tired of fishing on certain forums.

 So I'm bored.

For an unemployed DT recluse, leisure is the enemy.

It may be a luxury concern for full-time employees who are constantly working overtime, but boredom is boredom.

Of course, I don't look for a job because I believe that working is a losing proposition.

It's difficult for me to go out of the house because I have a phobia of other people.

 Since I don't go outside, I don't get hit by a truck.

"Oh? Hmm, that's some nostalgic character-making."

I found a site that looks like an RPG, but it assigns bonus points to muscle strength and magic power.

I haven't even started the game yet, and suddenly I'm on the character building screen, but I guess browser games these days are trying to get you to pay.

I'm bored, so I'll just play for a while.

I'll never pay for it, though.

I clicked on the + and - buttons next to the numbers and assigned 18 points to them.

Race: Human, Male

Strength 15 +-

Agility 11 +-

Vitality 14 +-

Magic 6 +-

Dexterity 8 +-

Luck 9 +-  Bonus 0

A warrior type with a large amount of strength (STR) and stamina (VIT). The emphasis is on balance, not neglecting agility (AGI) and dexterity (DEX).

Dexterity can affect your hit rate.

Magic is left at the default value.

In addition, I clicked on the words "race" and "human" to see if I could choose other races, but nothing happened. It seems to be fixed.

I didn't click on the [Next] button at the bottom, but clicked on the [Redo] button at the top right.

Race: Human, Male

Strength 7 +-

Agility 7 +-

Vitality 8 +-

Magic 6 +-

Dexterity 7 +-

Luck 6 +-  Bonus 27

"Oh, random bonus..."

The values have been reset, and the bonus points have now increased to 27. The base ability values have also changed slightly, but I guess 7 is the average.

I wanted to know the maximum number of bonus points, so I clicked [Redo] in succession.

 12, 8, 3, 10, 21, 7, 9, 15, 11, 15.

"Damn, that was the best one?"

It seems that it's hard to get over 20 points.

It's easy to get 11 to 15 points.

Well, I've got plenty of time.

"Ouryaaaa!"

Left-clicking with three fingers. This is an advanced technique that I have mastered as a self-proclaimed (...) cheater in a certain net game. It's not as fast as a controller with continuous fire, but it's more impressive.

"There!"

I focused all my attention on the tenth place for the bonus point, and when I saw the 9, I quickly released my hand.

 Bonus point 99.

 Here it comes, this one!

Maybe I'm the world's rank-and-file player who can stop the firing just when I aim for it?

As expected, this skill is only useful in a few games, though.

I decide that I can't get any better than this, and assign points.

Strength 24 +-

Agility 23 +-

Vitality 24 +-

Magic 23 +-

Dexterity 23 +-

Luck 23 +- Bonus 0

Hmmm, I got a lot of bonus points, but it's not great when I assign them. But I'd be sad if I failed to get the maximum.

I adjusted the allocation and checked, but it seems that 50 is the maximum.

 I pressed the "Next" button.

The electronic beeping sounded too simple, but hey, that's not going to get you paid. I haven't decided to play yet either.

I like the fact that the screen switched quickly and there was no loading time. Well, if the loading time was too long on this shabby screen with no character pictures, I'd be in flames.

"Hoo~. Skills are also random bonus-based.

In this game, you're given a number of initial skills at random, and then you can spend bonus points to choose the bonus skills you want.

[Two-Step Slash] [Feint Lv1]

This is the initial skill currently shown in the skill column on the right. The bonus points are 14.

On the left side of the list are items such as Warrior, Mage, and so on, and the bonus skills seem to be organized by lineage.

Let's take a peek at the skills inside, starting with the warrior type.

[Body Blow] [Face Strike] [Tackle] [Osotogari] [Overwhelming] [Tension] [Jump knee kick]

[Spinning kick] [Low kick] [Middle kick] [High kick] [Back kick] [Heel drop]

[Side-Swipe] [Vertical Cut] [Shoulder Cut] [Thrust] [Kote] [Swallow-Counter] [Zantetsuken][Split Sword] [Dimensional Slash].etc...

There are a lot of them, so I scrolled through them, but they're all mixed up and don't seem to be unified. Judo, Kendo, and Sumo techniques are included, as well as stabbing in RPGs.

But are all the attack motions really included in this? It's not a text-only game, is it?

I mean, this is starting to feel like someone's homebrew game.

Oh well, I guess I'll stick around for a bit longer. because, I'm bored.

I hovered over the [Dimensional Slash], as it seemed to be the strongest, but the text remained gray. It looks like I don't have enough points. There was a small message in the upper right corner that said "5000 skill points required". That's impossible.

 I have only 14 points.

This is a skill that I feel like I can't choose from the beginning no matter how I try. So why don't you give it out in the making, but I guess you can get it if you top-up for it.

 I don't see a button for top-up, but that's okay, I don't do top-up.

I hovered my cursor over the different skills, but the minimum point requirement was 1, and it seems that you can get [Vertical Slice] and [Thrust] for 1 point. Well, I don't have to bother with skills like these, they're not even difficult enough to be called skills.

I'm sure they're trying to sell the variety of skills they have, so let's give them a warm welcome.

Press the [Back] button and let's take a look at the mage skills next.

[Fireball] [Ice Needle] [Windcutter] [Thunderbolt] [Rockfall]

[Firewall] [Ice Lancer] [Windstorm] [Earthquake] [Blizzard]

[Sleep] [Temptation] [Stun Cloud] [Death] [Weed Trap] [Detect]

Well, it's a rather orthodox lineup of spells. Some of them use verbs instead of nouns, but it would be foolish to put a fine point on katakana Japanese English.

"Hmm, no explanation given? This is a bit of an adventure for a skill with a lot of points. ......"

Normally, you'd expect to see a pop-up or a separate window with an explanation of the skill, but this game doesn't seem to have such a friendly design. That's a negative rating.

I hovered over "Fireball" and found that it has a higher skill point value of 3 points. The other spells also seem to be set a little higher than the warrior type.

[Detect] was one point, but I guess it's just a crappy spell to find out the enemy's location or something.

I also looked at the list of priestly spells at random, and next was the bandit spell.

"Oh, [Caress], huh?"

In a game with so many skills, I would have thought that stealing would be a given, but then I thought, "Caress". I got a little bit of a kick out of it, and it made me giggle.

The required skills of "trap removal" and "lock picking" are 3 points. I'm not sure if this means you can get them even if you don't choose to be a thief. If so, it's a skill I'd like to get.

 I'll be playing solo anyway.

"Hmm? Wh, whoa, whoa. ...... fella is"

I scrolled down to the bottom, and found skills like [Blowjob] [Verbal Abuse] [Tying Up], [Spanking] [Molestation] [Voyeurism] [Candlelight], and others of that type.

What the hell, I thought this was going to be a serious RPG, but it's more like that!

 Tsk, tell me that soon.

 I'll play it this game!
