Chapter 1 - To a New Place
On the top floor of the West Tower, we were fighting the Mad Orc, the boss of the place, when I was hit by an unexpected attack.
I was blown to the floor and couldn't breathe right away.
The fear of being chased by the orcs struck me.
「Damn it! Lily, take control!」
Alec immediately gave the order.
「I-I got it.」
He and Meena also ran in to prevent the Orcs from pursuing me.
「Leave it to me.」
Ione took over the decoy role and pulled the orcs away from me. Alec helps me up from my fall.
「Are you okay, Serina?」
「Ka-Kahah, *cough! cough*. Y-yeah, I'm fine, sorry, I was a bit careless」
「Phew, be careful. Then, can you still go?」
「Somehow.」
「Use the 【Starlight Attack】 immediately, okay?」
「Got it.」
I approach carefully from behind the orcs. Ione is dealing with the orcs in front of me, so they haven't noticed me.
「【Starlight Attack!】」
A rainbow star flies from the sword, and the Orc turns into smoke.
「Clear! Yaayyy!」
「Phew!」
It wasn't an opponent we couldn't beat, but it was a bit dangerous.
We returned to the inn and had a review meeting.
「I'm sorry for everything.」
I bowed my head. I wasn't injured, but it was an error in judgment not to use the 【Starlight Attack】 from the beginning. The opponent was the boss.
「No, that's all right. I didn't make the right decision either.」
「Then, tomorrow, we'll go back to the tower to level up.」
「About that, I should know a lot more about the enemy's attack patterns so I can get more tactical experience. Let's head to the new dungeon.」

「I think we should go to Grandsword in the neighboring country. It has a large dungeon and an arena. It's also a popular country for adventurers.」
Ione made a suggestion. A country where the first king was a swordsman?
「But does the king of this country think it's a good idea for us to go to another country?」
Alec was curious, but of the six heroes who were called up for this year's summoning ceremony, Erwin and Keiji-kun had already left the country. I don't know if they were disturbed or not, but Alec and I are the only heroes left in this country.

Ione explained.

So he's the sensei at the swordsmanship dojo that Alec and Meena go to. I've heard that he's a nice and friendly teacher, but I haven't met him yet.

While Alec and the others were at the dojo, Lily and I headed to the tool shop.
「Serina~ I don't want to walk, you know!」
「Hm? Ah, you're talking about going to the Kingdom of Grandsword」
「Yeah!」
I don't think there are any trains or cars in this world, so how are we going to get there? I guess, there are carriages.
「But before that, let's find out how far it is by asking around, shall we?」
After finding the sign for the bag, we entered the tool shop.
The shop had everything from potions and medicinal herbs, essential for adventure, to farming tools and obscure wooden souvenirs.
The owner of the store was cleaning with a brush and noticed that we had come in, but unlike in Japan, he didn't say "Welcome". Even in this country, the owner of a grocery store is very friendly.
「May I have a moment of your time?」
「What is it?」
「How far is the Kingdom of Grandsword from here?」
「Ah, Grandsword, huh. It's not that far. It's a neighboring country. That's right, it's about a ten-day walk.」
I'm shocked that a place that takes ten days to walk to isn't that far away. It's far enough.
「I don't want to walk! A carriage is good, a carriage!」
Lily, who was poking at an ornamental carved wooden bear, insisted indignantly upon hearing this.

Isabelle and Ai called out to me from the street.
