Prologue - Crisis and Experience
Having destroyed the Holy Church, we continue our adventures in the Kingdom of Vernia today.
We've been going to the West Tower to level up.
It's going well so far, but I'm scared that there are a heroes like Shin who will attack people.
Alec said that I should level up and get stronger.
Then be wary of the heroes.
He said this is because they are likely to have good rare skills, playing a browser game that I also saw. Alec asked me about it and I answered, but when I told him I got 99 points the second time, he gave me a flick on my forehead. Why?
「Well, I guess we'll just visit the Mad Orc today and go home.」
Alec says.
He's got his steel armor on and looks like a swordsman, but he's still got the stubble. I said, "Why don't you shave it off?" He told me not to interfere in other people's fashion. But I'm pretty sure that's not fashion, it's just a pain in the ass. Oh well.
I've already mapped out the 20th floor of the tower and taken all the treasure chests.
My level hasn't risen from 26. The other enemies were already easy to beat and I wasn't gaining much experience.

Meena's white dog ears fluttered as she nodded vigorously. I heard that she was sold as a slave at an auction, but now she is one of us, and she is taking care of Alec. With her short-cut white hair and steel breastplate, I'd say she's a fine swordswoman.
「I wonder what it(Mad orc) looks like.」
I don't like too much heavy armor, so I wear a fluttering white cloak on my back and a red miniskirt. For some reason, my eyes and hair have turned red since I came here, so I coordinated them accordingly.
「Ordinary Orcs are monsters like pigs, but」

Lily, a petite woman with pink hair, said with a grin. What kind of boss is the Mad Orc that awaits us?
The usual formation - Meena, who has a good nose, at the front, me and Ione on the left and right of the second row, Lily, who is a flyer, in the middle, and Alec at the back.

I say, checking the place that has not yet been filled with 【Auto Mapping】.
Here is a sturdy-looking wooden door reinforced with iron and hung with a latch.
It looks like the boss won't be able to come out from inside.
「Well then, as soon as I say we're retreating, we'll head back here.」

I plan to take countermeasures and take the necessary skills after that.
Open the door and go inside.
At the end of the door, there was a straight corridor extending for about ten meters, and beyond that, it seemed to be a hall.
「We're at the back of the hall.」
Meena said, but there was no smell of pigs.
The walls of the passage are lit with candlesticks at regular intervals, so we don't need to worry about the lights here.

Alec instructed.

I wait for Lily to check the door.

Or maybe it's a magic door that closes automatically. It's a trap in the tower.

Unless it's a powerful enemy that no one has ever defeated before, the boss here is said to be defeated once every few years. The Adventurer's Guild recommends a level of 25, so that shouldn't be a problem.
We continued forward, exited the passage, and entered the hall.

There was a table at the far end of the hall, where the Mad Orcs seemed to be eating.
There was a large plate of what looked like grilled rice on it, and it was just chomping away at it.
It was spilling the rice out of its mouth.

The other members were a little surprised when Lily let out such an impression.

Despite the fact that we were having such a conversation, the Mad Orc continued to eat in a single-minded manner.
It's an orange pig-man with a vicious face.

Alec muttered, but if they were here, they could have made a preemptive attack from this position and fought to our advantage.

Lily said and held up her sling. It won't do much damage, but she'll attack first.

She missed the first shot, but Lily hit the orc in the face with the second one.

The enraged orc picked up a large hammer that it had left on the floor and swung it at us.

Alec said, but even his steel armor would be crushed if he took a serious hit from that thing.

Ione and I bravely charge in, and Meena, perhaps as an guard for Alec, doesn't move yet.

The two of us slashed at the Mad Orc from both sides at the same time. We hit the target without difficulty.

The Orc, growing even angrier, shuddered and raised its great hammer. I, the target, quickly retreated to the left side of the hall.
On the other side, Ione, who had taken the Orc's back, slashed at it again.
「Puggy!」
The Orc, who had turned away, turned around and chased after Ione to the right side of the hall. As it turned its back to me, I approached and slashed the orc again from behind.
If we take turns slashing like this, I wonder if we can ...... no damage?
「Hey, isn't that Orc a total idiot?」
Lily said.
「Maybe. But don't let your guard down.」
Alec, who is watching over there, says.
The Mad Orc, no matter how many times it is slashed, still repeats its monotonous attacks.
It looks good.

Ione unleashed her inner strength. She ran past the orc and slashed at it as she overtook it.

The attack seemed to have worked, and the orc slumped forward.

I switched to a series of attacks and pushed at it all at once. The wobbly orc almost fell.

Lily cheered for me, and I started to feel like I was winning. It was the first time the orc swung the hammer sideways at the right moment to fall, and it hit me directly in the torso with great force.
