Chapter 11 - The Mage's Guild
At the inn, Alec suddenly took Nene into his room, so naturally I had to accompany her and keep an eye on him to make sure he didn't do anything crazy. ......
「Nene, these are the skills you have, but I'm going to erase the ones you don't want.」
Alec said.
「Hawaa, really!?」
For the locals here, being able to erase your own skills seems to be a pretty amazing thing, and Nene looks surprised as she rolls her eyes.
「It's true. So, Nene, you don't need [Fearful Level 2], [Negative Thinking Level 1], and [Athletic Deafness Level 2], right?」
「Yes, I don't want them.」
When Alec closed his eyes, he seemed to have used his skill [Party Skill Reset Level 2].
「Okay, I erased it off, Nene. Look at your skills.」
A skill that erases skills is a scary skill, depending on how you use it, but you can't erase it without the other party's consent, and there's a limit to how many rare skills you can erase. It seems that Nene's rare skill [Empathy☆] is not a problem even if she has another one.
「Okay, then, status open ...... ah, I-it's really erased. I'm glad.」
Nene-chan smiled a softly smile and looked happy. You've done a good thing.
「Now let's go to the weapon shop.」
「Yeah, let's go buy Nene-chan equipment.」

I pointed out that there are several weapon shops on this street. I guess they're like convenience stores in Japan.

I pointed to a store that looked good.

Next, armor.
There were expensive robes with jewels, but a beginner would look like a fool wearing them, and they were a bit too big for Nene.
There were about three colors to choose from, but Nene-chan couldn't seem to choose one herself, so I did it for her.
She was wearing a bright grass-colored robe and a pointy hat of the same color.
The material of the robe is just a piece of cloth, and it has almost no defensive power. The advantage is that it is light and does not interfere with magic. It was also cheap at eighty gold.

When I was satisfied with my perfect coordination, Alec said something unnecessary from the side.

「That's because she can't even use her skills. We're going to the Mage's Guild next.」
She need to learn some magic skills.
「Nene, as I said at the inn, your role is to be a rear guard magician. You don't have to fight up front. We'll protect you, so don't worry about that.」

「That shouldn't be a problem once you level up and get the skills.」
I'll have to think about it, though, if she can't change her class to mage and raise her level with that.
We ordered a mage, so I guess it's okay.
「Where is the Mage's Guild located?」
I asked the owner of the weapon shop where it was.
「The Mages' Guild is across the street.」
「Yeah.」
We all headed that way.
「There it is.」
The Mage's Guild was a church-like building with a pointed roof.
We opened the old-fashioned door and went inside.
「Oh my, welcomee~!」
A cheerful-looking woman greeted us with a smile. She was sitting at the counter, so she must be the receptionist for the guild.
Alec told her what he wanted.
「I want to change class to Mage. Can you do it?」
「Sure, it's not for everyone, but as long as you have the aptitude, you'll be fine. There's no fee, including the aptitude test.」
「Okay, this is her.」
He put Nene in front the receptionist.
「She's cute. I'll take a look at her magic value then. Hmm, her base ability is 7 and her MP is 6. It's not impossible to change jobs, but I don't think she's suited to be a mage. If you want, she can try to work as a receptionist.」
「No, I'd rather raise her as a mage than a receptionist. Please go through the procedures.」
「Sure, sure, Then take out your adventurer card.」
「Ah, sure.」
Nene seemed to have her own adventurer's card, and Maria-san seemed to have done the right thing there. She was a very sexy slaver, but she seemed to be good at her job.
「Well, Nene-chan, please go to the back room.」
「Can I observe?」
「Sure, that's fine.」
We decided to accompany her to see the place.
